The strong J&P Building Systems philosophy towards application related product innovation and design is supported by a comprehensive, bespoke manufacturing capability in our European and UK based factories. To maintain our high standards, our quality assurance procedures ensure that all processes are controlled, and are in compliance with our ISO 9000 systems.
Our factories employ qualified fabricators and welders. Components and fixings can be fabricated to any application requirements
We can offer advice on fabricated items and can develop application solutions utilising our in house CAD and 3D modelling facilities.
Fabrications can incorporate standard sections - CHS, SHS, RSA, UC, UB and PFC.
Plate material in 3mm to 15mm thick is held in stock for use in the manufacture of:
- Fabrication - all types of small to medium fabrications ranging from brickwork supports, windposts to architectural bracket work.
- Cold forming - angles, channels and zed sections are cold formed from cut plates on a CNC press brake.
- All sections can be produced with any combination of punched or drilled holes and slots to suit the required details.
- All types of plate washers can be supplied with round holes, square holes or slotted holes. Horseshoe shims can be also be supplied
- Shearing - plates are sheared to size on a CNC guillotine
- Plasma cutting - for more intricate shapes plates can be cut on a CNC controlled Hi-Definition plasma machine
- Punching - any combination of holes or slots can be made, whether round or square.
- Serrated plates and washers can be welded to suit.
- Mitre sawn pieces, welded gussets and plasma cut-outs can all be incorporated
- Stainless steel
- Mild steel
- Galvanised steel
- Primed steel
-
Carbon steel components can be galvanised or shot blasted and primed.
Fabricated components can be pickled and passivated after welding. Alternatively complete fabrications can be mechanically polished or electro polished.
On request components we can provide brushed satin or bright polished stainless surfaces.
